My approach to photography is part patience and part interaction; patience because i have learnt that when photographing kids or anybody infact, they need time to adjust to having me in their space and having my camera pointed at them. Interaction because i know once we've got past the adjustment period, curiosity kicks in and then our session really begins.

I see something in kids and families and how they interact. It is what i strive to capture with my family and friends. I am passionate about what i do and my aim for every session is to create images that give a peek into who your kids are, what your family is about

My work is about light, it's about having fun and being free, so sessions are done on location capturing what you would normally do on any other day but just a prettier version of it

so please don't worry about what to do during a session; if the session is in your home- we will be spending time in every corner of it- the living room, the kitchen, the kids' room or your bedroom...wherever the children the are comfortable, is where we will be. Please do not worry about the piles of clothing folded on the bed or chair, i only notice them long enough to move them out of the shot. I may ask for us to move things around - chairs, stools or even the sofa; i may also ask for unusual things such as a drawer to use as a makeshift bed for the baby, a bowl or even a basket. We will use things that are special to your kids, so please be sure to show them to me when we start....

What to wear:

On infants, skin photographs best (you can also have white t-shirts with diapers, overalls, but please work on the 'less is more premise'). For older children, simple styles, bold colours and bare feet work great.

For family shots, please try to keep sleeve lengths consistent and encourage similar colour tones to encourage a cohesive look.

whatever you choice of clothing, please remember that the look is natural and relaxed; so dad, no dress shirts please and mum, - no Sunday best on you nor your little angels :)

After the session:

You will be sent a link to your online slideshow as well as a private gallery which will allow you to view your images in the privacy of your home for 4 days before an order must be placed.

Clients will be given an opportunity to order online from various print and product options.

Please note: viewing galleries expire 4 days after a password has been issued. orders placed after the 4 day period will incur a 25% service fee. Please understand that this is to ensure smooth workflow processes.
